Camiguin Island is also a prominent destination during the lent season. The annual "Panaad" celebration gathers some pilgrims towards the Island. Most pilgrims walk around the island to show some sacrifice.
The "walk way"- a site along the hillside of Mt. Vulcan containing the 14 stations of the cross - is a popular site to visit during the "Panaad" celebration. At the start of the Holy Week, people flock to this site to visit the 14 stations and do some rituals called " The station of the cross".
